Polish Party Friday :Nicole by OPI- Blue Lace and Sephora X- Chaotic (A little picture heavy! :D )

First off, I want to ask you guys a couple of questions.
One: Have you ever painted your nails based on something that caught your eye?
Two: Where do you get your inspiration for manis from?

Let me explain:
Yesterday I was making earring tops (decorating the glass piece that would fasten on to the post).
I made one with a couple of polishes and then realized that that would look really good on my nails!
That's how today's Polish Party Friday mani came about!

First off, I just painted my nails with NOPI- Blue Lace...

It's one of my favorite blues (and since I am a bluey- blue girl, that's saying a lot!)

Then I figured it needed a little extra flair.
That's where one of my babies came in....
Meet Sephora Z- Chaotic

You want to know something funny? I actually bought this polish from a blog sale, because of My Boyfriend Hates Makeup!
She had a post up a while ago in which she had a whole bunch of black and white top coat polishes, and I realized that I did not have a single one, so I had to pick this one up. :)

Hope you liked this post!

Until next time,
Peace,
Rikya =]

JAMM~ Inspired by my old high school's colors

The high school that I graduated not too long ago, their school colors were orange and blue, so that is pretty much what inspired today's JAMM!
I also decided to let these pictures speak for themselves, since they always say that pictures are worth a thousand words, so without further ado, here they are!

And this is because I am silly! =D

Hope you enjoyed my JAMMin' pictures!

I used all Ulta products, to exclude the lipstick, which was Prinsess Pretty's Kinky Pink, with a little bit of an eyeshadow layer on top to make the lipstick less hot pink and more cotton candy pink! =]

Anyways, hope you enjoyed!
Until next time PoYos,

My new babies: Hit Polish Blueberries and Creme and Whimsical Ideas by Pam's Peanut Butter and Jelly

This blog post does not have a distinct theme like some of the other posts I have done. These are some of the newest polish which I have gotten and some of my favorites, so hope you enjoy!

First off, I wanted to start by showing you my undies. (Not those kind of undies lol... what kind of blogger do you think I am?) These undies.

They are a simple white (Sinful Colors White on White) and a magnificent gray (LynBDesigns Eloquent Dust)

Here's my undies holding the bottle of one of the indie brands that I have wanted for a long time: Whimsical Ideas by Pam!!

Now to show you what this polish is capable of: THIS!

....and this! (Work it polish bottle!) (You go Glen Coco!)(If you get that reference, you get a big ole teddy bear hug from me!)

Here's it is on the nails! I loved putting these two coats on! :)

It was so very easy to put on. Unlike some polishes, the bigger glitters came out without any fuss and spread evenly over the nail. Isn't it beautiful? (Insert montage of people/animals crying here)

Now onto my other polish baby: Hit Polish's Blueberries and Creme!

First off, before I show you the polish, I want to say my favorite colors are blue, blue and blue, so when I got a polish like this one with many speckles of differing shades of blues in them, needless to say, there was no way I was not getting this on my nails as soon as I got the bottle!

I mean just look at it! I challenge you to feel blue when you look at this picture! =]

Here it is again! Isn't it blueberry-licious? (Made up a word!)

~ With clear top coat ~

~ With Matte Top Coat ~

In case you didn't get enough of the polish, here's my ring that I am going to make once the ring base comes in!

I hope you loved today's post!

If you want to buy anything from Whimsical Ideas by Pam, go to https://www.facebook.com/whimsicalideasbypam, check out her long list of polishes she carries year round and email her for an invoice.

If you want to pick up some polishes from Hit Polish, (some of which are on sale right now -hint- -hint-), you can go to http://shop.hitpolish.com/ and check out the amazing array of polishes.

Until next time PoYos,

First ever JAMM! Look inspired by a Katy Perry song?

This is my first ever Just Another Makeup Monday post, so I figured I would give you kind of two looks for the price of one!
See if you can guess what this look is called!

First off, before I show you the look (s), I want you to see my makeup haul!
I bought these four items: Eyeshadow Duo, Black Eyeliner, Shiny Lips Lip Stick and Volume Mascara...

and got all those circled in green free! It was part of a promotion; all you had to do was buy 20 dollars worth of Ulta Brand products, and you got all of the stuff circled for free! =]

I wanted to first show you the two lipsticks that I used. Here's Cappuccino! It's a beautiful brown color. Considering I didn't have a great brown, I was so thrilled to get this for free!

Look at this shimmer!

Red with golden shimmer: Meet Rome!

Look at the two; they are muy caliente!

So here's my look(s)!
Let me give you hints for what I called this look is called:

~~1) It's a song by Katy Perry
(She's one of my favorite celebrities, because she just is who she is and doesn't care what other people think :) )
~~2) You're ____ _____ you're ____; You're yes and you're no, You're in and you're out..."
(If you don't get it, don't worry! I will tell you at the end of this post!)

So now I will just let the pictures speak for themselves!

So in case you couldn't tell I am a little wierd and that's my fake moustache in one of the above pictures! =]

So the name of my look was: Hot and Cold!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time,
Peace,
Rikya

Ellagee's Lucy in the Sky

In case you guys didn't know, Ellagee's polishes are amazing!
So when Ellagee had Lucy in the Sky on her Friday Sale, I had to jump on the chance to own it! :)
Just take a look at the following two pictures and try to tell me it's not amazing! I dare you!!

Silvery, holo-y goodness!!!

I want you to first see one full coat of it over bare nails....

... yeah. This is how this polish acts in one coat. I challenge you to find another silver holo that is this complete in one coat. This saves having to go over and paint another coat, which I find amazing!

I should explain before going any further. When I ordered this polish, I was so excited, so I actually messaged Laura, the lady behind Ellagee and said that I would have to put this over so many colors. She said "yay."
So this is for Laura.
I literally put Lucy in the Sky over 15 different polishes, so that you and I both could see how Lucy in the Sky changes the way the polish looks! :)

It would take a long while to list all of the polishes used, so if anyone wants to know the polishes I have used, just message me and I will be more than happy to message you with all 15 of them or a specific one!

See? It changes the look of the color, but still maintains the individual color underneath.

With this polish, you do have to do a thin coat of polish so that it will make the polish transparent enough to see the color underneath.

Wasn't that beautiful? I just hope that I took pictures that showed off this polish to the best that it could be.

As I said earlier, if you want to know any of the polishes that I used today, just message me on my page at www.facebook.com/GoPolishYourself

Oh I almost forgot Ellagee's polishes can be bought on her site here: www.ellagee.com

Until next time PoYos,
Peace
