Etherealle Eyeshadows (Jest, Wildflower, Snowdrop and Fresh Mint) and Blush (Sugar Plum)

My Etherealle samples of eyeshadows that I bought showed up today!

First off, I was really excited about these samples. They weren't that expensive, plus they were matte samples! (I'm sick of getting glitter in my eyes :/)

So below from the left is:
~Fresh Mint
~Snowdrop
~Jest
~Wildflower

Close up of  Jest and Wildflower. (Aren't they amazingly bold colors?)

Look at what I did with them! =]

Here's the ever-so beautiful blush:
Sugar Plum

Now I don't know about you, but the first thing I thought of was that line from "Twas the Night Before Christmas" "...and visions of sugar plums danced in their heads..."

Look at this blush! It's subtle enough to not be to over the top but it's bold enough to accentuate the face.

Here are my other two eyeshadows:
~Fresh Mint
~Snowdrop

I did pictures on each eye, because I wanted to show you the best representation of each color, so I did them inverted on the other eye. =]

Both eyes to show you the difference!

Both eyes, teal lips!

Hope you liked this post!
Until next time,
Peace,
Rikya

P.S. If you are in love with these products like I am, you can get them on Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop/Etherealle.

Belated Polish Party Friday- Ombre/ Homemade Stamping!

Hey Poyos!
So here is my MacGyver/ Kitchen Impossible/ Nail Art post! :P

You will see what I mean.
You guys said you wanted Ombre and Homemade stamping, so that's what I gave you!

First off, here are the things I used...

A pencil (one with an eraser!)

Sinful Colors polishes (Cinderella, Let Me Go, Savage, Ocean Blue, Midnight Blue) Nailtiques silver

I just wanted to show you the ombre I created. I think it turned out really well.
(Plus they're all Sinful Colors, so they're not expensive =])

So now I hear you all saying "Where's the stamp?"
Well, that's where the pencil with eraser comes into play.
I took the eraser and cut it with scissors; that was my free-form stamp!

It gave me the results below [I stamped by dipping the "stamp" in the Nailtiques silver]

I think it stamped pretty well for being an eraser that I cut to make =P

Anyways, hope you liked this post! I hope that you see this and it inspires you or makes you think about making your own stamps [or something like that =P]

Until next time PoYos,
Peace (and have a great labor day!)

Polish Party Friday :Nicole by OPI- Blue Lace and Sephora X- Chaotic (A little picture heavy! :D )

First off, I want to ask you guys a couple of questions.
One: Have you ever painted your nails based on something that caught your eye?
Two: Where do you get your inspiration for manis from?

Let me explain:
Yesterday I was making earring tops (decorating the glass piece that would fasten on to the post).
I made one with a couple of polishes and then realized that that would look really good on my nails!
That's how today's Polish Party Friday mani came about!

First off, I just painted my nails with NOPI- Blue Lace...

It's one of my favorite blues (and since I am a bluey- blue girl, that's saying a lot!)

Then I figured it needed a little extra flair.
That's where one of my babies came in....
Meet Sephora Z- Chaotic

You want to know something funny? I actually bought this polish from a blog sale, because of My Boyfriend Hates Makeup!
She had a post up a while ago in which she had a whole bunch of black and white top coat polishes, and I realized that I did not have a single one, so I had to pick this one up. :)

Hope you liked this post!

Until next time,
Peace,
Rikya =]

JAMM~ Inspired by my old high school's colors

The high school that I graduated not too long ago, their school colors were orange and blue, so that is pretty much what inspired today's JAMM!
I also decided to let these pictures speak for themselves, since they always say that pictures are worth a thousand words, so without further ado, here they are!

And this is because I am silly! =D

Hope you enjoyed my JAMMin' pictures!

I used all Ulta products, to exclude the lipstick, which was Prinsess Pretty's Kinky Pink, with a little bit of an eyeshadow layer on top to make the lipstick less hot pink and more cotton candy pink! =]

Anyways, hope you enjoyed!
Until next time PoYos,
Peace,
Rikya

My new babies: Hit Polish Blueberries and Creme and Whimsical Ideas by Pam's Peanut Butter and Jelly

This blog post does not have a distinct theme like some of the other posts I have done. These are some of the newest polish which I have gotten and some of my favorites, so hope you enjoy!

First off, I wanted to start by showing you my undies. (Not those kind of undies lol... what kind of blogger do you think I am?) These undies.

They are a simple white (Sinful Colors White on White) and a magnificent gray (LynBDesigns Eloquent Dust)

Here's my undies holding the bottle of one of the indie brands that I have wanted for a long time: Whimsical Ideas by Pam!!

Now to show you what this polish is capable of: THIS!

....and this! (Work it polish bottle!) (You go Glen Coco!)(If you get that reference, you get a big ole teddy bear hug from me!)

Here's it is on the nails! I loved putting these two coats on! :)

It was so very easy to put on. Unlike some polishes, the bigger glitters came out without any fuss and spread evenly over the nail. Isn't it beautiful? (Insert montage of people/animals crying here)

Now onto my other polish baby: Hit Polish's Blueberries and Creme!

First off, before I show you the polish, I want to say my favorite colors are blue, blue and blue, so when I got a polish like this one with many speckles of differing shades of blues in them, needless to say, there was no way I was not getting this on my nails as soon as I got the bottle!

I mean just look at it! I challenge you to feel blue when you look at this picture! =]

Here it is again! Isn't it blueberry-licious? (Made up a word!)

~ With clear top coat ~

~ With Matte Top Coat ~

In case you didn't get enough of the polish, here's my ring that I am going to make once the ring base comes in!

I hope you loved today's post!

If you want to buy anything from Whimsical Ideas by Pam, go to https://www.facebook.com/whimsicalideasbypam, check out her long list of polishes she carries year round and email her for an invoice.

If you want to pick up some polishes from Hit Polish, (some of which are on sale right now -hint- -hint-), you can go to http://shop.hitpolish.com/ and check out the amazing array of polishes.

Until next time PoYos,
Peace,
Rikya
